Event Timeline

Today's topic:

  • I need to book a flight to AGM of GnuPG e.V. and FOSDEM
  • No plan to have a presentation at FOSDEM 2020

Last week:

  • SOS (Simply, Octet String) branch of gpg is now works
  • Chopstx 1.17 (sorry about confusion last week, it's not 1.18) released
  • It reminds me that Debian for RISC-V encountered libgpg-error build problem

This week:

  • Using gpg-SOS branch, make an example of leading zeros key (secret and signature, possibly public).
  • Consideration about libgpg-error cross compiling
    • there is (inherently) no reason why we need headers under src/syscfg
      • It can be generated for HOST machine on BUILD machine (where HOST != BUILD)
    • we can improve gen-posix-lock-obj.c (and Makefile.am) to support cross build correctly
      • assumption of BUILD==HOST should be removed cleanly
      • make sure that it generates things for HOST (instead of the ones for BUILD)
    • IIUC, gen-w32-lock-obj.c does for cross build, doesn't it?
    • When improved, it will be more easy for new architecture to build GnuPG and its friends.

Last week:

  • Moving to Germany, some troubles with the new flat so I could only move in on Saturday.

This week:

  • Some fun GpgOL stuff
  • Prepare / Release Gpg4win 3.1.11
  • Prepare our new office with Werner
