Qt5core.dll 5.8.0.0 in Gpg4Win-3.0.2 is virus free???
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I have installed the latest version of Gpg4Win (3.0.2) in Windows x64 and Bitdefender launch an alert finding a Variant_Graftor.5639 in the file QT5Core.dll. Previous versions of the same file are correct (no problem detected by the antivirus), but in this one is the first time I see an alert message. Anybody knows if this file is correct?? The SHA is OK. And Kaspersky doesn´t detect nothing...

Hi,

sadly this happens with nearly every release that some Anti Virus software reports false positives ( https://wiki.gnupg.org/Gpg4win/AntiVirusSoftware )

Virustotal is a nice service to get an overview of other scanners:

You could help by reporting this as a possible false positive to the BitDefender authors but this is not really a Gpg4win issue.

Best Regards,
Andre
