Description

It's awesome that gpg can now export authentication keys as SSH keys. But the reverse should be possible as well! Why don't we make an --import-ssh-key option?

I am not sure what it would do, to be honest, particularly when only public key material is fed.

My use case is to replace core components of Monkeysphere, which are written as ad-hoc perl and shell script right now. The component in question takes SSH private key material and wraps this in an OpenPGP certificate. For server keys, we create a whole new OpenPGP keypair, but for user keys it might make sense to allow injecting that in an existing OpenPGP key as well.
