The list of lookup methods performed by --auto-key-retrieve includes a WKD lookup if wkd is in the auto-key-locate list (and --disable-signer-uid isn't used).

Please add DANE lookups to --auto-key-retrieve if dane is in the auto-key-locate list (and --disable-signed-uid isn't used).

Any other methods that might be in the auto-key-locate list, that aren't already an auto-key-retrieve method should probably be added for consistency and completeness (if they make sense).
