It seems GpgOL does not recognize mails sent by gmail and encrypted with FlowCrypt as encrypted and does not try to decrypt them.

They have a cooperation with Google.
turned out that not the flowcrypt encryption is the issue here. The cause seems to be the usage of Proofpoint "Email Warning Tags".
Any software which inserts a banner or otherwise changes the mail structure will cause problems with GpgOL and has a high probability of making parallel usage impossible.
