problem with outlook 2003 SP2
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

i have two mail accounts, a yahoo webmail and a company mail. i created key
pairs with winpt for both accounts.

using yahoo mail and the copy/paste facility everything seems to work fine. the
same mechanism seems not to work within outlook.

when I try and encrypt a message from outlook using gpgpol , its telling me that
an error occured, that the certificate is not valid or not existing, or the
encryption is not compatible. however, the certificates do of course exist, and
gpgol seems to be unable to access that.

same with a friend sending me messages. when sending me to yahoo, i can decrypt,
when my friend sends to outlook (my company mail account) i cant decrypt. when
trying to decrypt with gogol, its telling me that the private key is missing
(which i dont even understand, because i have the friends public key, and that
is supposed to be used to decrypt; why should it need a private key)

Sees does not look like a bug but a usability problem. Please ask on one of the
mailing lists. Further I have to say that due to time constraints, the 0.9
series of GpgOL is no longer supported.
I am sorry for this inconvenience.

Gpg4win/2 will soon be released featuring a heavily rewritten GpgOL.
