Buttons in outlook 2007 disappear

Description

Hi guys,

I tried working with the Gpg4win 1.1.4 and the Gpg4win 1.9.14-BETA, but with
both version I encounter a problem.

I'm working with Windows XP SP3 and Outlook 2007 connected to an Exchange
server. All looks to work good, I can create a key and am able to encrypt and
decrypt messages.

The only problem is that when I create a new email message and send it and then
go back and make another message the buttons to encrypt are dissapeared. I toke
two screenshots of the toolbar. First you see 'invoegtoepassingen' and the
buttons. The second time it is not there.

Only when I close outlook and start it again it is back.
You understand that it is not working fine this way.
I hope someone has an answer for this?

Many thanks
Ap

Are you really able to encrypt messages when connected to an Exchange server
with gpg4win 1.9.14? I have problems then.

No idea about the buttons. I have not tested with OL2007 for quite some time but
I can't remember such a problem.

Hi, yes I was able to do so.
No problems found when I encrypt a message and send it through our exchange
server to an external email. There I was able to decrypt. The other way around
was also working.

Only problem now is the buttons and after a restart the gpgol.exe could not be
loaded in outlook. So now it isn't working at all anymore.

Ap,
can you state the version of Exchange you have been successful with?
You have used Gpg4win 1.9.14-Beta back then, if you happen to try 2.0.0
can you repeat the findings?

bernhard lowered the priority of this task from High to Normal.

Since the last activity on this report, GpgOL was changed a lot.
Probably the original reporter does not use the Windows/Outlook combination
anymore. Thus closing this report.
