Spurious \"empty file\" warning for non-files
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

In Debian bug #205596 it has been reported and discussed, that gnupg shows an
empty file warning for non-files (stdin/stdout). In
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=205596#20 you thought about
simply removing the warning. I'm wondering, if this is still considered or if I
can tag this "wontfix".

Since svn rev 5003, the warning is only printed if option --verbose is used.
That may be helpful for some users and does not complicate things too much.
