Internationalized Domain Names (IDN) in UID: not a valid email address

Description

A user reported, that it is impossible to use an IDN in the mail-address of an
UID. is_valid_mailbox() fails on special characters in the domain.

There is AFAIK --allow-freeform-uid to woraround the limitation. Are you going
to add support for IDNs in is_valid_mailbox()?

UID are expected to be UTF-8, IDN conversion should be done by the MUA.

Early this year we changed the check function in 2.0 to ignore non-ascii. I
just checked 1.4 and indeed the change has not been backported. I'll do that.
