Installing gnupg-agent makes ubuntu unable to login
Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

After installing gnupg-agent in my ubuntu system (tested in 10.10 maverick and
11.04 natty alpha1) makes the gdm login uneffective. It seems to get the
password but then gets back to the login screen.

There is more info in the original ubuntu bug at
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnupg2/+bug/659509.

Also is suggested that this could be some kind of interaction with seahorse.

Thanks in advance.

Please provide a proper test case which is independent of the
distribution. Do not report distribution specific problems to an
upstream package. Thanks.

FWIW, some tools try to grab the GnuPG internal IPC protocol; this is
not a defined mode of operation.
