A Debian user reported this wish:
I wanted to update the expire time of a subkey and i couldn't select it. In the
man page:
key n Toggle selection of subkey with index n. Use 0 to deselect all.
in the help from commandline:
key select subkey N
the problem is that the N is not precise enough. One could ask 'Is that the key
id ?'
Indeed, the help output of the command line could also say "select subkey with
index N".
I will consider that for 2.1. Doing it for 1.4 will break all translations and
thus I don't belive it will be an improvement in the end.
I've fixed this with commit 0b86c74 by making it possible to select keys using
the key id. Consider:
