Description

Werner,

Can you please confirm if there is a procedure to encrypt and decrypt the
files residing on another host using gpg command line on source server.

FYI..

We are using the keys that belong to an user existing on remote server from
the source server. For authentication we have exchanged public key from
Source to remote server.

With GnuPG 2.1 and a recent ssh versions you can keep the private key on the
local machine but use it on the remote machine for decrytpion or signing.
Checkout --extra-socket in the gpg-agent man page. This is not possible with 2.0.
