Description

After decrypting the 5.5GB zip file, the zip no longer presents itself as a valid zip archive. Zip 'manifest' corruption during decrypt?

Which tool did you use: gpg or gpgsm?
What is your OS?
How did you create and decrypt the file (command line options)?
Can you repeat this with a smaller file?

Which tool did you use: gpg or gpgsm? <== In-house developed Web Service that call gnupg to decrypt or encrypt

What is your OS? <== Encrypting side-unknown. Decrypting side Windows Server 2012 R2

How did you create and decrypt the file (command line options)? <== Web Service expects source path & name, and destination path & name. All other options are obfuscated

Can you repeat this with a smaller file? <=No. Smaller files (current size is under 1GB) behave as expected.

I think you should take this up with the support of your in-house web service, and if the developers of it find a bug, they can report it here.
