On git master ( 922bae8082f2f8d696ea0e7d7e9e4d986789bdfc ), all the dependencies on latest version and building tools installed, it will complain and not compile & install about target platform mismatch with libgcrypt and libgpg-error versions.

Modifying /common/Makefile.am fixes it. Patch attached.
