Toshiba Satellite 1110-Z20, SuSE Linux 9.0

Description

After creating and using my Key for some days, now my Passphrase is no more recognized. I am sure, I make no mistake inputting it correctly, because I put it down on a notepad. My guess is, that somehow the "ö" in one word of my passphrase isn't recognized by the programm. I use GPG with KMail and the KGPG-Frontend. So perhaps it's a problem in KDE's settings?

We can't do much about it. However character set
conversions have been greatly improved with 1.4; so you
might want to use this one. Or well, stick to plain ascii ;-)

No further response regarding tests with 1.4.1. Assuming
that the problem has been solved.
