Description

libgpg-error 1.31

libksba 1.3.5
libassuan 2.5.1
npth 1.5-4
Pinentry 1.1.0
gpg (GnuPG) 2.2.9

I have installed above packages in my RHEL 7.9, and using Luna HSM Dpod, but I am unable to connect to card, I am getting below error.
[root@scspa2572125001 64]# gpg --card-status
gpg: WARNING: server 'scdaemon' is older than us (0.10.0 < 2.2.9)
gpg: Note: Outdated servers may lack important security fixes.
gpg: Note: Use the command "gpgconf --kill all" to restart them.
gpg: OpenPGP card not available: Not found

Did gpgconf --kill all and tried but no luck.

Could you please help me out of you are familier with the bug?

Event Timeline

It seems you have replaced the scdaemon module from GnuPG by a 3rd party module (which exhibits a version number 0.10.0) - this is not supported and you will of course run into errors.

BTW, version 2.2.9 is pretty old and you may want to contact the RedHat support. A RedHat version of GnuPG is often very different from our (upstream) version.
