dr. watson when sending encrypted/signed to O2k contact list
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Release: 1.0.0

Environment

Win NT 4.0, Outlook 2000, GPG4win-1.0.0
Win XP, Outlook 2003, GPG4win-1.0.0 (alternative test)

Description

When I check the encryption or sign button in Outlook 2k and try to send to an outlook contact list, which is NOT in the Global Address Book, Outlook.exe crashes with Dr. Watson, when pushing the outlook send button.
While trying in Outlook 2k3 on another machine, I've got no Dr.Watson, but the current mail window freezes.

How To Repeat

In a ExchangeServer2k3 environment, create a contact list in your the contact folder of your mail box. Then try to send an encrypted mail to that contact list.

Event Timeline

A cursory look at the log file does not reveal any problems
obviously related to gpgol. You can help by creating a log
file for gpgol: Use the advanced options in the GnuPG
options dialog and enter a name for a debug file (e.g.:
"c:\temp\gpgol.log". Then rerun the test using test data
and send the file please to timo (twoaday at g10code dot com).

werner added a project: Too Old.

Due to time constraints, the 0.9 series of GpgOL is no longer supported.
I am sorry for this inconvenience. Gpg4win/2 will soon be released featuring a
heavily rewritten GpgOL.
