Due to import failures related to T7213: PKCS #12 import fails on broken P12 files which MS accepts it has been noted by the customer that users were confused if they entered the correct passphrase when they encountered the import error, since pinentry showed spaces when they tried to confirm this.

It is somewhat logical that when entering a password for PKCS#12 it uses the dialog for symmetric passwords but for users this is a bit confusing especially since it uses the decrypt dialog is also does not note that spaces are not part of the passphrase. So especially users that do not use the symmetric encryption feature at all might never have seen that message.
