Kleopatra: missing translations in kf5
Testing, NormalPublic

Description

Some translations are missing in Kleopatra in spite of 100% translation in German, French and Japanese (those were the ones I checked, the others are surely the same as the latter two).

In German I am missing:
"<b>Decryption not possible: %1</b><br />The data was not encrypted for any secret key in your certificate list."
from src/crypto/decryptverifytask.cpp:272. The other strings there which were changed at the same time should be affected, too. See T7295.
I find only a part of that string in the trunk6 translations.

For JA and FR I only did a quick check for key creation.
Noticed as not translated from the key creation dialog:
"Advanced options", "Key Material", "Valid until (between %1 and %2):"

We should have the same kf5 .po files for at least those languages, too.

Everything mentioned above was translated and is now shown that way in all three languages.

German is completely fine.

In French most filter names are not translated in VSD33 (see below), the rest looks fully translated at first glance.

In Japanese, it looks like everything in the main menus in Kleo is now shown translated, except "Show Toolbar" which is from kconfig which is missing some JA translations. There could be some more exceptions like this where the translations are not taken from the Kleopatra and libkleo po files.

And the filter names from the rc files libkleo/src/libkleopatrarc-win32.desktop and libkleopatrarc.desktop are not shown translated to JA, although the strings are translated in libkleo._desktop_.po

If I understand this correctly, to get a really complete JA translation
a) somebody would have to translate kconfig (although maybe only "Show Toolbar")
b) the JA language team would have to scatter the translations. Which they seem to do seldom.

For French I was told that the translations of the filters should be available now in git master.

ebo moved this task from Backlog to vsd-3.3.0 on the vsd33 board.
ebo edited projects, added vsd33 (vsd-3.3.0); removed vsd33.

This is the current (VSD 3.3.0) state for Japanese (with German as fallback):
