From the Debian BTS:
GPA segfaults on start for me too, according to strace after reading
the output from "gpg --list-secret-keys --with-colons", which probably
is what the original submitter was seeing.
I tracked it down to only happen when my old PGP secret keyring is
referenced from gpg.conf and gpa.conf does not exist (ie. gpa trying
to determine an initial default-key setting).
The difference in the "gpg --list-secret-keys --with-colons" output
