When only signing a file and then cancelling the operation at the pinentry window, the result window shows success instead of cancellation:

When cancelling the same way for sign+encrypt, the result is correctly given as cancelled.

As in VSD 3.3.7 cancellation on signing correctly results in a report that the operation was cancelled, this seems to be a regression.
