If I try to use my OpenPGP card after I just started windows (I use the card to
encrypt and sign E-Mails), I have to run gpg2.exe --card-status several times to
get the card working.
If I run the --card-status for the fist time, the card data seems to be ok. All
my keys are listed as well as my user information.
In the next step, I try to sign an e-mail, using enigmail on thunderbird. The
pinentry dialog tells me, that the signature counter is 0 (what is wrong)
[picture 1] and enigmail brings up the error of a missing field [picture 2].
I then re-run the --card-status, I only get my user information out of the card.
All keys are empty, as well as the signature counter [picture 3]. Running
--card-status more often does change nothing.
I have to re-enter the card to my cardreader (Cherry G83-6744) and run
--card-status again. Now all the information is visible correctly and I can sign
my mail.
If I do not run --card-status after re-inserting the card in the reader,
enigmail ceeps telling me, that the card has been removed [picture 4], until I
run --card-status.
