I found another file doing harm to gpg. It is located at:

Event Timeline

It is now fixed for gpg2 in the SVN trunk.

There was some strange old special case code in gpg. Even after some discussion
and mail diffing we were not able to figure out why this code was there in the
first place. Hopefully people will try the next release candidate well to
checkout whether there are any problems.
