pc64 requires --disable-asm
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

From the Debian BTS:

  cat ../../checks/../doc/HACKING \
	    ../../checks/../doc/DETAILS \
	    ../../checks/../doc/FAQ >plain-large
  ../g10/gpg --homedir . --quiet --yes --no-permission-warning --import

../../checks/pubdemo.asc

The attached patch adds '--disable-asm' to CONFARGS in debian/rules.
With this patch 'gnupg' can be compiled on ppc64.

All distros seem to have this problem at least since 1.4.2.

Given the proposed workaround, I'd say we don't fix that.
