Description

The common keyserver scheme does not support key lookup by fingerprint. If IIRC we have a hack in 1.4 to extract the keyid from the fingerprint (for v4 keys) and that would also be a short term solution for 2.2. The better solution is to add an entry for fingerprints in a new but compatible keyserver scheme
