It is unlikely that the Telesec will ever release their 3072 bit RSA cards. Given that the toleration of 2048 bit RSA will stop in one year we need to make sure that the Signature Card 2.0 (featuring ECC) is also supported in our current LTS version (GnuPG 2.2).
