many releases in the meantime thus I am pretty sure that this has been solved -
at least on the GnuPG side.

I have the same problem with Debian Sid on GNU/kfreebsd. Most likely due to
newer gtk or X11 libs.

Sorry for the late response, only recently a new pinentry got released.
So we will test this on basis of 0.7.6.
No response - assuming that everything is fine now.

That is no bug but required by the Assuan protocol:
Thanks, I put it in (rev206).
I put in a patch similar to that (g_malloc0 was now unnecessary, and I left in
the GMALLOC_SIZE macro). Thanks for taking the time to reporrt this.

There is a patch for qt4, please apply then assing to me for testing.
It is good to see this solved at two places
That problem will go away anyway because the next GnuPG version splits the DN at
the slashes and thus lines are way shorter.

Fixed in GnuPG 2.0.11.
Tested with gpgsm 2.0.10-svn4835 and pinentry-curses 0.7.4. Works fine now. I
did have to explicitly set GPG_TTY, though, to make pinentry-curses work, but
that's unrelated to this issue.

No response, assuming it has been fixed.
Crash due to a NULL pointer dereference.
Not a Windows specific bug.
Fixed in svn 4935.

Just tried with the gnupg 2.0.10rc1 and a recent gtk2 pinentry (0.7.5): I can't
duplicate this anymore.

Fixed in pinentry svn revission 190.
This is a bug in pinentry qt and qt4. It does not occur with the other pinentrys.
Dec 5 2008
Is this still an an issue (2.0.4 is pretty old)?
