Fixed. Kleopatra now looks for programs given as plain name (i.e. without any path) first in the GnuPG installation path (as reported by gpgme) and then next to the kleopatra executable. If the program is found at neither location it is run as-is.

Indeed. We would need to add different entries to the context menu for each installation. Given that GpgEX needs to be replaced anyway and we will drop the need for a UI server socket (which is anyway only a trigger and no full communication).

Gpg4win 4.4: ok, now the date of the main key is preset as the expiry date of the main key if it is less then 3 years in the future. Otherwise 3 years from now is preset.

Checked the property details of some files in "Progams (X86)" and found several without product name, E.g. libgpg-error-0.dll and other dlls located at C:\Program Files (x86)\GnuPG\bin.
Or gpgolconfig.exe at C:\Program Files (x86)\Gpg4win\bin and the examble from above, libKF5JobWidgets.dll, shows no product name either.

This is now merged into master

After recompiling, it works!

I went for the placeholder text because you asked what should be shown on error. And I would rather not follow your suggestion and show an empty widget but keep the placeholder text then.

I like it. BTW, even the unblocking should not be easy to access because users will anyway enter the wrong PUK and then the card is bricked (ready for a factory reset).

This is way too much text, people. And changing the placeholder widget wasn't part of the original description. Please create a new ticket for this.

First: we should do something about the placeholder text, too. It is a bit misleading ("But it says Netkey cards work, why doesn't mine?"…)

Open:

• The lower left corner of the screen shows a spinner while scanning for smartcards. this changes to the number of found smartcards.

Backported for VSD 3.3

I'm pretty sure that this bug fix should be backported for VSD 3.3.

To clarify what I mean by the missing VarFileInfo block. Currently the GnuPG binaries have versioninfo.rc files but only the version number is displayed for dlls as their pattern did not have the VerFileInfo block: The libassuan-0.dll displayed in this screenshot is from the 2.2.43 package and the assuan-9.dll is self compiled but including the patch below that. I would like to commit such a patch to all libraries that require it if that is okay with you.
