It should be possible to permanently decrypt messages or remove the signature. E.g. to remove attachments in signed mails. GpgOL could offer to remove the signature and the attachment.

Saving a decrypted copy locally might also be wanted in some threat models and usage scenarios. E.g. with local disk encryption to have a searchable archive.
