Tested with
gpg4win 1.0.9, (GnuPG: 1.4.7, GPGol: 0.9.91) Windows XP SP2 Outlook 2003 SP2
New message created, "Encrypt with GPG" selected, then message sent. Three
behaviours observed depending on Message format:
- HTML format: Message correctly encrypted as text message. Encrypted html
file attached
2)Text format: Message is sent out unencrypted -> IN CLEAR !!. If key not
found from email addreess, key selection window shown, but message still sent
out in clear, independetly of key selected.
- RTF format: GPGol warning window shown. Sending operation not allowed,
returned to message editing window.
This behaviour is very pernicious, as in case 2 the message is finally sent
out IN CLEAR !!
I have checked with gpg4win 1.1.3 (GnuPG: 1.4.7, GPGol: 0.9.92) and the
problem is still not solved. It continues to occur exactly the same way.
We can close this. The current Master of GpgOL states that Outlook 2003 and 2007 Support is no longer maintained and we will remove support for this altogether in new versions. With current Master this issue also no longer occurs.
