This is not related in any way to GPA, but to gpg.

The problem is caused by running an invalid configuration
(GPGME 0.4.3 with GnuPG 1.2.1). Therefore, this is not a bug
in GPA.

I just checked in a fix to CVS. The crash seems to be gone.

Just fixed in CVS. Given "filename" now GPA looks for
"filename.sig" and "filename.sign" and asks the user whether
to verify them instead.

Fixed in CVS. The date is choosen from a calendar, and not
formated by the user, so there is no risk of confusion.
This can be done using a GtkCalendar, so that the user
clicks on the date he wants the key to expire.
