This is not true. The approved directive is actually very good because it explicitly does not allow software patents. The remaining question is still whether the EU is democratic enough to accept the decision of the parliament. So we still have a lot of work to do.

This malformed link was fixed with v1.6.2 of the FAQ
(2002-02-25), and is no longer an issue. Recommend PR
submitter update their copy of the FAQ to current version.
Scribner is the upstream FAQ maintainer.
Note that the bug has been temporary fixed on the web site, but a FAQ
upload missing this bug correction would make the bug appear again on
the site.

We can't change this in the CVS but should instead use the
-P switch when doing a checkout or update.
It is very likely that we switch to another server. So this
bug won't be relevant anymore.
Caudium eats too much resources and for our static pages its
overkill to use such a dynamic server. I consider to switch
to another webserver; not very likely Apache becuase this
beast is similar to Caudium.

We decided to support standards and not browsers. Thus, the site is W3C's

Sorry, this question is not pertinent here. Please ask to
GnuPG user mailing list:

Maybe the fix must be retouched by LoLo.

Fixed (I think correctly)
I think this is the tipical Caudium problem
Apr 29 2003
Actually fixed in english and spanish (see Fix), it remains
to be fixed in german and italian. Maybe the fix musy be
retouched by LoLo.
Mailing list is not mentioned at all. A link must be created
to the mailing lists page.
Fixed in english and spanish. I think Italian is correct.
