Fixed for 3 lists. I can't remember the details but quite some time ago someone requested some changes and while applying them the host_name must have changed / I changed it. The problem with Mailman is that it does not use plain config files to keep under etckeeper. At least not with some effort.

@werner also I suggest to check the default setting for this, see https://www.list.org/mailman-install/customizing.html and you can use the scripts mentioned there to check the configuration of several mailinglists at once and change it, if you know, which one is to blame, e.g. the host_name value.

The mails from these days still contain the following header:

List-Post: <mailto:gnupg-devel@lists.gnupg.org>

which is probably causing the mail client directing the mails to this address. Is there a way to change or or make it an alias so it is easier for people to use the mailing list without finding this issue?

This still seems to be a problem:

CC does not offer such an option as the GPL does.

No Apache - No Default charset per suffix. The version for browsers is the HTML version.

It may be preferable to get that under 4.0 or later, so you don't need to contact every contributor again if in some years there is intention to switch to a newer version released by Creative Commons.

I do not think that we should prioritize this right now. I had a talk with Michael and he said that we basically have the trademark because we are currently using it. To really register it and enforce it we would have to hire patent lawyers and that will easily go into 6 figure sums. Which I don't think we need right now. Let's keep it as "GnuPG is in use as a Product of g10cde".

In another project in the early 2000ies we had a lawyer from one of those Königsallee lawfirsm as partner. IIRC the estimated cost for a word trademark in the EU, US, and JP was in the range of 10k for just a couple of years.

I created a new task for that T3322. The verein doesn't have any ownership over the logo so this is still your decision as head of g10 code.

We can't close this bug because the main thing is to define a policy on how the GnuPG icons can be used. For example do we allow their use by proprietary software to indicate that they use GnuPG below the hood?

There are no team encryption keys, that's the problem. So there is at least a dependency between the tasks, as we can't document what we don't have.

I don't see how this duplicates T3074. If the web form is going to encourage people to ask for the team's encryption keys, it should just provide the encryption keys directly.

I removed the man page and the link for now. Currently there doesn't seem to be an easy way to update it automatically.
