Hm. Comparing --debug-all on both architectures I see clear differences. Not
sure if they count. But the value for length on the amd64 box, when it re-enters
the loop looks weired:
i386: no loop
JFTR: I have only tested on an amd64 box. But I can check this later with an
i386 box too.

Forget the second part. It prints this message only, if it indeed needs input
and giving --yes works in this case too. So there was a fault on my side.

When I checked for a force-yes switch, I grepped for "force" and missed the
--yes switch. But also using this switch results in a prompt, so the main issue
persists.

I noticed the word and I tried to check this carefully. I found no reference for
a word "anlisten" (Duden, Canoo, dict.leo.org ... even $search-engine only
listed a few references). Seems this is a word creation and therefor I changed it.

I sent the user a notice and asked him to check his work against the latest
gnupg version. However, the report is 3 years old and I don't know, if the user
will react. If hre does, I will forward the result to this item.
