Hi werner,
Sep 4 2009
is it a new gnupg2 version (like as gpg 1.4.10) or a patch to test ?
As said in the announcenmet, you should not use this but use gpg4win.

Fixed for 2.0 - svn 5147.
Wen can look into this during the development of 2.1.
This is now a known problem. The likely reason is bug in the card's code. The
workaround is to forget about card based 3072 bit encryption keys.
We will do this in 2.1 and maybe backport it later
Marcus: I this still a problem with the SVN trunk?
As time permits I should be able to check this out myself. Actually I will need
to do this because Iswitched to a kreebsd kernel on my laptop with a cm4040.
FWIW, I received the Design and Implementation of FreeBSD today.
We need to review the purpose of gpgkey2ssh. It might be easier to integrate
this into one of the other tools.
No response - assuming that it has been fixed.
Fixed in 1.4 since 2009-07-23.
Released with 1.4.10.
Fixed for 2.0.x in svn 5144.
When using GnuPG2 you need to add the option to ~/.gnupg/scdaemon.conf.

See T1125.
There is no version 2.0 of GPA, I assume yo mean the version included in gpg4win
2.0.

Yes, it is the same code.
I was using gnupg2 during these tests, was that affected by the APDU field size
issue?
There is one bug in gpg: The Le field of the APDU is set to 256 but we expect a
larger return value. I fixed that problem in the just released 1.4.10.
Fixed in 1.4.10 - just released.
That might be a problem in libbz2 or in our glue code.
Hi,
Retested using Gpg4win-2.0.1-RC1 (GpgOL 1.0.1-svn308)
Issue seems to be resolved in that non-encrypted attachments open in a
reasonable timeframe.
Thanks,
Juicefruits.

According to http://pcsclite.alioth.debian.org/supported.html#0x046A0x0010
this is a supported reader.
Does the fact that I can encrypt, sign, and authenticate correctly with 3072 bit
keys affect your hypothesis?
According to http://pcsclite.alioth.debian.org/supported.html#0x17EF0x1003
this is a supported reader. I will have a closer look at your log file tomorrow.
Note that I am talking about gnupg2, which does not have this option, at least
it says
Here's the output from lsusb:
What reader are you using? USB vendor and product id (lsusb).
According to http://pcsclite.alioth.debian.org/shouldwork.html#0x0B970x7762
this reader should work but it has not been tested.
Any news about this issue or patch to test ?
THisis a proble with that IMAP server. With an IMAP backend Outlooks updates
the mail several time becuase we create some internal attachments). They should
be expunged as soon as possible - you can set an option in some IMAP servers to
do this immediatley. We can't do anything about it.

Seems to be resolved with Gpg4win-2.0.1-RC1 (GpgOL 1.0.1-svn308). Needs more
tests of other users. Grandgeorg, can you test again?
