This works on Linux with KMail and with Claws (although with Claws the attachment is added twice).

works on windows, too
I didn't check with a CardOS / PKCS#15 card but as the solution is not card specific, checking with another card should be sufficent.

It's a shell issue. With bash Kleopatra starts from the shell. Andre will debug further.

As described, the storage location is now shown per subkey in the subkey details window.
works
works as described.
How about giving a notification in Kleopatra relaying gpgs message(s) "signature already revoked"? Instead of ~"3 certifications were successfully revoked, do you want to publish them?"
works. Certificates are shown in alphabetical order to the user and expired subkeys are ignored for encryption even if they are newer.
works as described. But If you already have revoked one or all certifications of that key, you still get the revocation dialog.
works

This works, there is only one gpgsm process at a time while importing a dozen S/MIME certificates at once.
yes, one down, two to go...
signing works, too
follow up of T6517
works (I did only check the first 2 criteria)
Meanwhile the AppImage (same binaries as the current Gpg4win version) can be found here among the binary releases: https://gnupg.org/download/index.html

works, tested with the provided example certs
information shows now up immediately, when the public key data is imported
On Windows with gpg4win 4.2.0 the filenames are suggested as in the description of this ticket, that is "Archive.tar (1).gpg".
But this is no issue, it can be decrypted with Kleopatra without any problem, anyway. The name of the decrypted folder is "Archiv.tar (1)" but it is a plain folder, no tar archive.

yeah, sorry, didn't test different key types yesterday.
NIST encryption keys do not work either, so only RSA encryption keys can be moved with Kleopatra to a smart card in gpg4win 4.2.0.
I can confirm that authentication keys work.

Noticed in gpg4win 4.2.0-beta373:

works, I did not encounter the issue following the description
works. So gpgtar obviously knows about the filenames now, too
as this task is for a technical restructuring task, which is obviously done and works, closing this ticket.
works, the processes are stopped.
For the removal of the unfinished archive on cancelling encryption see T6584.
On the command line:
gpgtar -v --status-fd 2 -er Ted -s -o tt.tar.gpg tiefer_test
leaves a .tar.gpg file behind, too, if
- you kill it with CTRL-C
- if you call it without -s and stop the gpgtar.exe process in the task manager
- if you call it with -s and give the correct password
On Windows the process is stopped but you end up with a too small archive.
If you cancel immediately (presumably as long as the file still has size 0) it is removed, though.

with the new gpg.exe you gave me for testing it looks good now:

gpgrt version?
I get a failure status, but a different one.
Seems to be an other issue? But wasn't (ec=112) disk full?
And the disk of the Windows VM must have been running full with that file, before the start there were ~2,6 GB free:
